Care Plans & Rebates
Session duration is one hour, which generally includes 50 minutes consultation and 10 minutes to process payments and book any future appointments.
Medicare rebates are available for those with a mental health care plan authorised by their GP. Rebates are available for clients with a Mental Health Care Plan (Better Access) or Enhanced Primary Care (Chronic Disease) plans. On your first appointment you will need to provide a copy of your medical practitioners referral letter and care plan to be eligible for the Medicare rebate.
Medicare rebates are also available for ASD assessments and intervention if referred by a child’s Paediatrician. These rebates are available for young people under the age of 13 years.
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) services are also offered by practitioners at Young Minds Psychology.
