Counselling
Helping families through the process
Counselling and intervention services are offered by all practitioners at Young Minds Psychology. These services may be needed when a child or adolescent is experiencing difficulties at home or school. This may include difficulties with concentration and completing schoolwork, issues with peers or getting along with others, or difficulties coping with emotions, such as anxiety or depression. Issues may impact on a young person’s ability to sleep, interact with others or take part in activities they previously enjoyed. Offering parent and teacher support is often an important part of effectively intervening and supporting a young person through their difficulties.
